24.02.2018 – Das Roden (Teil II)

… Hatte ich letzte Woche doch gedacht, heute geht das ganz schnell. Es hat die ganze Woche nicht geregnet, es dürfte trockener sein, so dass wir noch nicht mal Gummistiefel brauchen würden, auch wenn wir sie sicherheitshalber eingepackt hatten.

(Der Teufel ist ein Eichhörnchen und wer weiß das nicht besser als ich, wenn es um puncto Rebenarbeit geht.)

Sonnenschein und eisiger Wind bliesen uns entgegen, als wir aus dem Auto stiegen, aber es konnte uns nichts die Laune verderben.

Hinab auf die Terrasse, kurz geplaudert, wie und wo wir wohl am besten die Rebstöcke stapeln würden und los.

Der erste Rebstock, zur Hälfte in der Erde steckend, ward gleich gesichtet und beherzt – gemäß dem gleichen Prinzip von letzter Woche: Einer Sammelt, einer transportiert ab – stürzte ich mich auf ihn.

Beim Ziehen an der Rebwurzel blieb jedoch der gewünschte Effekt aus. Anstatt des Rebstocks in der Hand, fuhr nichts anderes als einen harten Schlag durch den ganzen Körper.

Da bewegte sich nichts.

Da ging mir ein Licht auf. Ein Lehm-Löss-Gemisch, das nass ist, ist samtig, geschmeidig und schwer.

Wer sich an handwerkliches Arbeiten in der Schule entsinnt, hatte bestimmt auch mal Gelegenheit, am Töpfern teilzunehmen.

Und genau das war das Empfinden meinerseits.

Eine Woche war vergangen nach dem Verlassen der letzten Töpferstunde und zurück bekam man eine bizarre Landschaftsskulptur, die quasi unzerstörbar war, wenn man sie nicht fallen ließe.

Zum Glück hatten wir von einer unserer Aktionen im Dezember noch eine Schaufel vor Ort gelassen. Sie kam wie gerufen. Mit Hebeln und Drücken gelang es uns, die Rebstöcke aus der Erde zu stemmen.

Aber ich will ja nicht nur jammern. Waren die Rebstöcke zuvor extrem schwer gewesen, da sie von nasser Erde behaftet waren, rieselte die Erde hier leichtfüßig ab, und machte sich sogar zeitweise in dem starken Wind auf und davon.

Das erleichterte natürlich den Transport der Reben. Es war uns sogar möglich durch Einsatz geschickter Wurftechnik sich die meisten Wege zu sparen. Das war aber auch bitterlich nötig, mussten wir doch so viel Energie aufbringen, um das Feld zu räumen.

Am Ende, nach rund anderthalb Stunden Schwerstarbeit, war es dann soweit. Wir konnten sagen: WIR HABEN ES GESCHAFFT! Das Feld ist bereitet für den nächsten Arbeitsschritt, das Spaten des Feldes. Darunter versteht man eine Lockerung des Bodens in 60 cm Tiefe.

Vorhergesagt sind für die nächsten Tage bis zu -10 Grad und Schnee, das dürfte auch für die Maschine kein Zuckerschlecken werden.

    Diese Woche war bei mir eher Papierkram: eine Einverständniserklärung für die Kita, die als PDF zurückkommen sollte. Also die Seiten mit dem Handy abfotografiert und in lensup.ai zu einem PDF gemacht, die beiden Seiten vom Ausweis gleich auf ein A4-Blatt. Die Dateien bleiben dabei auf dem Gerät, verarbeitet wird im Browser. Beim Verkleinern gebe ich eine Zielgröße an – das landet manchmal ein bisschen drüber, für das Formular hat es trotzdem gereicht.
