Zusammenfassung – das Jahr 2018, 2. Hälfte im Keller
Meine Blogeinträge habe ich in der zweiten Hälfte von 2018 gänzlich vernachlässigt und hier gehört eine gehörige Portion Schande auf mein Haupt. Und ich könnte jetzt eine Reihe von Entschuldigungen finden, warum ich den Blog nicht aktuell gehalten habe, aber es ist sehr simpel: ich habe mir schlichtweg nicht die Zeit genommen, andere Dinge haben Prioritäten erhalten.
Da das Jahr 2017 stark von Frost in den Anfangsmonaten geprägt war, hielten sich die abfüllbaren Mengen 2018 stark in Grenzen, so dass wir nicht einmal die Abfüllanlage in Betrieb nehmen konnten. Das liegt daran, dass die Anlage ausschließlich über Falldruck arbeitet, jedoch genügend Menge an Flüssigkeit benötigt, die nachdrückt, um das Abfüllen in Gang zu setzen und zu halten.
Das war bei den Einzelmengen zwischen 40 und 170 Litern leider nicht möglich, so dass wir noch manueller werden mussten als wir vorher waren.
Das Spülen der Flaschen in der Sprühstelle blieb der gleiche Schritt wie in den Jahren zuvor, nur das Abfüllen zog sich hin. Mit einem lebensmittelechten Schlauch und Klemme wurden die Flaschen direkt aus dem Fass befüllt.
Die einzige Großmenge aus dem Jahr 2017 ist unser Pinot Noir, den wir allerdings noch nicht abgefüllt, sondern uns entschieden haben, ihm nochmal 9 Monate zu geben, um im Barrique sich ein wenig gehen zu lassen.
