The Vineyard
Sonnenstück is known for its unique terroir. Soil characteristics, sun exposure and microclimate all contribute to optimal ripening conditions for the grapes. The soil consists of a mixture of limestone, clay, loam and loess, which distinguishes the vineyard from other sites in Schliengen.
The taste
Sonnenstück Schliengen Rosé is a Pinot Noir based wine. Pinot Noir is known for producing high quality rosé wines with fruity aromas and good acidity.
This includes fruity notes of strawberries, raspberries, cherries and red berries.
Body
The Wiesenrosé is dry to off-dry, with a pleasant acidity and medium body. The wine offers a good balance of fruit and spice.
